FROM A WHILE AGO


Intro
Hey y'all, I'm chogoling and I spin pens. I'm 15 and I started pen spinning when I was nine, trying to do the charge 12 and 23 after seeing my brother do it. Took me about a few months to do it. I was introduced to new tricks when I saw my brother do the Sonic and Fingerpass. I never asked him how to do them, as I was still trying to do the charge. In 2007, at my school, I was introduced to the TA, which I learned in two weeks. After learning it, I got interested in pen spinning.

Origins of dust_kid
'round the beginning of 2005 when I first started joining forum communities, I was thinking of a username to go by. During that time I loved CS, and the only map that would run smoothly on my shithouse 64mb ram, 4mb vram pc was de_dust. Loved the map so much, I incorporated it into a username, which became dust_kid.

Origins of chogoling
Towards the end of 2008, I started getting into following the competitive StarCraft: Brood War, and I watched many VODs. The korean commentators called zerglings, "chogoling" and I thought it sounded cool so I used it, and I didn't like dust_kid any more. I don't like being called kid, and I don't play cs often so it doesn't really relate to me. And I also find the name kinda immature.

A little about me
I'm in grade twelve of high school at the moment. I love games, most notably: CS, CoD4, Frets On Fire, Starcraft: Broodwar, FIFA 09 and Street Fighter III: Third Strike. As well as gaming, I love playing sports: cricket, soccer, rugby league, table tennis and basketball. Love reading shonen and seinen manga, anime. Favourite music is rock and metal, bands/artists I like are: Metallica, Iron Maiden, Dream Theatre, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Led Zeppelin, Weird Al, Blink 128, The Killers, 3 Doors Down, 30 Seconds To Mars, Fall Out Boy, The Living End, Simple Plan, Linkin Park, Wolfmother, Mintjam, SWORD OF JUSTICE, ASK, S.S.H, that's all I can think of off the top of my head. I like reading, playing board and card games, oh and did I mention pen spinning?
