Lakubo

Uni-Ball Lakubo, or simply called Lakubo is a Uni-Ball's ball point pen. It is quite famous among the world, used greatly in pen mod in Japan.

Colors

Lakubo comes in three different colors:

• Black
• Red
• Blue

Uses

This pen is usually used as a main body of a pen mod. Especially in Japan, when RSVP was not sold in Japan (recently, it is sold in Japan), Lakubo made a sufficient replacement as a main body of single sided pen mods. It had a decent barrel thickness, perfect for Sonic tricks. In Japan, Lakubo JELL and Lakubo SG (other wise known as Lakubo mod is the famous and most created and used pen mods. In PenDolSa influenced countries, Lakubo MMX is famous.

Lakubo is said to be able to spin well with the Lakubo alone, only with a back capping.

Some people criticize this pen because the barrel is too short, so ranges of spinning positions are limited making it hard to do combos that goes directly from sonic tricks into infinity tricks or tricks that involve [fingerpass|fingerpasses]] in position more toward the edge.

Although, recently, a pen called Pentel Hybrid Fine 04 started being famous among Japan (possibly the only country that sell Hybrid Fine 04) the barrel being 8mm longer with same thickness. Additionally, this pen has shorter grip barrel unlike unnecessarily long grip barrel like Lakubo. Hybrid Fine 04 is starting to get popular, however, Lakubo's rank stays.
