Fresh start

- I want to make more, but I'm not sure what categories to put them in, and what to put as the titles. Should I just keep the original titles? ~Rorix

Main page
We should make the main page more attractice and have a nice summary of all content.
- It looks good now, except it has no content (still the default content). - Zombo
- I would add stuff, except I don't know what to add. I don't think we have enough content for a featured article but a video might work. ~ Rorix
- I added a 'Featured content' box. Doesn't look too bad I guess, but the rest of the page seems kind of lacking, the video draws too much attention (for me anyway). ~ Rorix

Pen mods
Do we need permission from the creator to put their mods on here? What about pictures? ~ Rorix

Tutorial template
We need a good template for steps in a step by step tutorial with pictures. PenSpinZone had one, but I don't think we're allowed to take it. ~ Rorix

Getting pages from psconclave
If you go to archive.org, you can look up the pages from the old psconclave. You can't get the code, but you can get the text. Would it be worthwhile to try to import articles manually from psconclave? Grsbmd 02:21, 16 October 2007 (CEST)

Pen name/ pen mod article capitalization
I made an article for the Computer Sign Pen but only capitalized the first word. Now, I'm wondering if we should ignore the first-word-only capitalization for actual names like "Pentel RSVP" and "Dong-A Computer Sign Pen". Maybe for pen mods too.
- I would ignore the first world only capitalization when the names are actually supposed to be capitalized, like in the names of pens. I wasn't sure what to do with BIC Round Stic, so I just looked to see how BIC had written it on their website. ~ Rorix
IE Rendering
IE renders the main page funny (boxes close together and joined). It's the same on Wikipedia's main page too? Should I try fixing it, or just leave it? I'm not sure if it's fixable, since Wikipedia doesn't seem to have fixed it. ~ Rorix
Lefty images
No offense to lefties, but since the majority of the people are right-handed, we should make all the images RH. That's because when beginners try to learn a trick, they want to imitate exactly what they see, which is hard if it's on the left side. Simply needs to mirror every image. - Zombo
"Historical" information
Should "historical" info be addd to articles, possibly explaining past naming changes that happened a few years ago that may pop up, or including content from old forum posts (UPSBv2 is mainly what I had in mind) for the benefit of people who can't easily gain access. Things like quotes from older threads that may be interesting to show the evolution of an idea or whatnot. I was wondering how that info could be included, below are a few ways of trying organize older/out-of-date info that may still be of interest to others (I can't be the only person interested in reading older conversations about pen spinning :P).
- Sub-pages on main articles to include any older info that may conflict with current names/standards. It seperates what should be used with what was once used.
- "History" section at the end of the article, past any guides/videos/etc...
- "History" category with seperate articles specifically to talk about older information.

- If the content is short, add it as a section inside that article. Otherwise, write a little resume directly onto the page and create a new article inside the HD and point to it saying "See main article: etc." - Zombo
"FAQ"
Would there be an interest in creating a FAQ page on UPSB that directs to the most relevant links in an easy to find spot instead of traversing through countless links in UPSB and UCPSB to find the needed information? - Zombo
Trick article re-organization?
Instead of seperating the lower portion of the articles into lumps of "guides", "videos", "links", etc... I propose that there be separate sections for each trick variation so that someone who is looking for info on Inverse Sonic can see a guide, video and discussion links all in the same area of the article instead of scanning over the entire thing for each item. -Sketching
- I created an example page for Sonic to show how it may be structured. This moves all relevant info for variations into the same area of the article, rather than splitting it up throughout the entire article. -Sketching
Feature video
Maybe we should devise a procedure for changing the feature video on the main page? The SE Asia video has been there forever. - Zombo
Creator capitalization
Should the C in Unknown creator be upper or lower case? If it's supposed to be lower, Trick by Unknown Creator should be moved to Tricks by Unknown creator. Infobox trick will need to be edited too. ~ Rorix
- All the other templates have creator as a lowercase "c", so that should be fine. -Sketching
