Thailand Pen Spinner Community

Thailand Pen Spinner Community (THPSC) is a forum set up by Thai pen spinners to have a place where other Thai spinners can feel comfortable discussing and learning about pen spinning. THPSC includes the website, the discussion forum, and the pen store. It also receives help from Mr.LSC, the PenDolSa admin, such as pictures of pens, Elliot from PSConclave, and kaisen from Turtlespin for video lessons.

THPSC community
Mr.CsPSer or Jay, created the board in 9 May 2006 on the free ForumUp. After 7 days they have good feedback so Jay moved it to a better paid host (http://www.thaispinner.com/forum_domain/index.php). During the "Mother's Day TV Appearance" the website experienced a server crash and it was temporary closed. After series of fund raising the website was able to return with slight improvements on the forum.

The moderators are chosen by the administrator and could be removed or added through times depending on the user's activity.
The current moderators: shineo, tonnam, bluehawk, Dongza, AunezS, Golfzabemix_TPS, mr. showtimez, เมถุน (Metun), life, EvolutionVII, เอ็มเจ (MJ), and sathonmig.
Some moderators are removed due to inactivity: chri5, GeE, Lastdie, and nemo.
TV Appearances
The community made several TV appearances to promote itself starting from August 2007. This help pen spinning to become very popular in Thailand. Here are some notable clips:

The footage of "เรื่องเด่นเย็นนี้" was filmed by Reuters, therefore similar versions has been shown worldwide in many countries such as Singapore, Germany, and Poland.
ThaiSpinner store
The ThaiSpinner Store is a project by Mr.CsPSer to let "ThaiSpinners" have popular foreign pen mods such as RSVP MX and Comssa conveniently (1 day after order), and without the risk of trading. Products are modified pens, mod parts, and shirts.
RSVP MX
Currently (as of Jan 2007) the store has 9 versions available:
- Classic ThaiSpinner MX
- Tribal
- Matrix
- Lighting
- Dragon
- Spider
- Pinktech
- Horror
- Devil
The ThaiSpinner MX, or ThaiMX, became well known in other communities and owned by many foreign spinners.
Comssa
There are 2 versions of the ThaiSpinner Comssa made by Mr.CsPSer. Version 1 was produced in very limited numbers and was not very popular. The pattern is of the word "ThaiSpinner" printed on the barrel (Similar to PDS CS v.1-5.)
It was the second version, that gained popularity from other boards. This time the patterns are printed on stickers making it hard to wear off. Stickers also allowed more patterns to be included.
It was very popular that PDS also makes their own versions of ThaiSpinner CS v2(same barrel+black caps) and sells them in the PDS Store.
The rest of the Comssas sold in the store were PDS BCS v8, and PDS Silver CS v9.
ThaiSpinner: videos and website
The portal that fronts the THPSC is the ThaiSpinner Main Webpage. This website was made before new year in 2006, including announcements, headline news, links to different parts of ThaiSpinner, and video lessons.
Video lessons
This was meant for Thai members to view trick videos. The videos were from PSConclave, but there's an attempt to replace them with videos made by Thai spinners. This part is currently called the English Tricks section.
The highlight of the video section is probably the PDS SF Lessons(1-70) From Wiper Reverse to Korean Mini Combo. ThaiSpinner is the ONE and ONLY site other than PDS that Mr.LSC allows these videos to be viewed from. (Not even PDS members could download them!)
